Vordel Continues expansion within Australian and Asia Pacific Markets
Melbourne, Australia – July 24, 2012 - Vordel, the API Server provider connecting business, mobile and cloud, today announced its continued expansion within the Australian and Asia Pacific region. To support these on-going efforts, Vordel has appointed local reseller and system integrator Redcore. Redcore is Australia’s leading security, network management, and identity management technology services and consulting company. It has offices across the Asia Pacific region and has domain expertise within multiple industries including banking and finance, energy, government, retail and telecommunications.
Vordel, based in Dublin, Ireland, and with multiple global offices, enables enterprises to deliver application programming interfaces (APIs) to cloud, mobile, and partners. In recent years the company has enjoyed good commercial success in the Australian market with its Application and XML Gateways. Building on this foundation, the Vordel API Server, now enables enterprises to deploy mission-critical APIs and extend existing IT infrastructure to keep up with the rapid change in mobile and cloud computing technologies. As a result of this partnership, Vordel and Redcore will enable enterprises to reap the benefits of APIs by driving revenue growth through these new channels while leveraging their existing IT architecture. Redcore also provides extensive consulting services around technology complementary to Vordel from Oracle and CA Technologies among others.
“We're excited about our partnership with Vordel,” said Andrew McLauchlan, Managing Director with Redcore. “Enterprises are increasingly looking for a more effective means to control APIs across SOA, cloud and mobile computing environments. Vordel's best-of-breed technologies, coupled with Redcore’s broad and deep experience within Asia Pacific and Australia, offers our customers a secure, compelling and comprehensive enterprise technology solution.”
“Vordel has a solid track record within the Australian and Asia Pacific markets as evidenced by our continued recent customer wins in the government, gaming and financial services sectors,” said Jacques Declas, VP International Sales with Vordel. “Our partnership with Redcore will allow us to sustain this momentum and reach new customers. The combination of Vordel and Redcore offers customers a superior technology solution enabling them to achieve their business goals --- while we provide the critical technology. We’re confident of Vordel’s continued global growth, and this partnership further supports our commitment to serving the expanding and key markets of Australia and Asia Pacific.”
